Celebrating memorable trajectories

Since its 11th edition, Entrecoros has paid tribute to conductors, composers, and teachers for their contributions to the choral world.

Patricio Gómez Junco, MA.

A musician, choral director, and composer originally from Nuevo León, he is recognized for his outstanding work in sacred music. Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to the development of choirs and musical ensembles, promoting the development of new talent and disseminating the choral repertoire both nationally and internationally.

Víctor Manuel Hernández Murillo, MA.

Pianist, conductor, and composer originally from Álamos, Sonora. He studied at the National Conservatory of Music and has conducted various choral groups, including the INBAL Mexican Choir and the Mexican Folkloric Ballet Choir. He currently works as a pianist for the INBAL National Coordination of Music and Opera.

Alfredo Mendoza, MA.

Director of the Schola Cantorum of Mexico and founder of the Mexico City Children's Opera Company. He has been a fervent advocate for music education in schools, criticizing the lack of adequate arts programs in the educational system and promoting children's choral training as an essential tool in the country's musical culture.

Guadalupe Campos Sanz, MA.

Mexican soprano, pianist, and voice teacher. Founder of the UNAM Academic Choir and the Youth Choir Program of Mexico City. She has been a tireless promoter of choral music and lyric singing, with a vast career that makes her one of the most important figures in choral music in Mexico.

Juan Manuel Lara Cárdenas, MA.

Organist and musicologist, specializing in New Spain music. He has transcribed more than 500 polyphonic works by New Spain composers and edited volumes containing works by Francisco López Capillas and Hernando Franco. He is a researcher at CENIDIM and has served as a musical advisor for festivals dedicated to early music.

Our commitment: a song that unites us

ENTRECOROS was born with the desire for choral music to be a space for unity, growth, and love for life.

Passion for choral singing

We deeply value the work of each choir, recognizing their efforts as an act of resistance and community.

Meeting and respect

ENTRECOROS is a plural meeting space, free of judgment, where every voice has a place and value.

Friendship as a banner

We celebrate love, collaboration, and the collective spirit. Together, through our differences, we create harmony.
